This time of year often presents itself as being very hard for people. It is the time between the Winter Solstice and the brand new year. There are feelings of defeat, guilt, anxiety, excitement, joy; it’s a total mix for everyone. It’s wonderful to give yourself the time to make these days as slow as you possibly can, really appreciating the stillness and beauty of the Winter season. It truly is a gift, for so many people, tend to mask this time with glitter, presents, and so much craziness. There is so much natural magic around you in every moment and only when you take the time to appreciate it, will you be able to access more of the magic.

At the end of every year, I personally love to reflect on all of the things that I have accomplished over the last 12 months. So much has happened. I feel compelled to get creative and put together a vision board or vision book, with imagery that stirs emotions and feelings of happiness, inspiration, joy, and hope. It’s so important to get into the right vibration as you enter the new year. It’s also important to go easy on yourself, as so many feelings can be brought to the surface. You are human and there will be many different types of experiences, however, identifying the emotions that you want to experience in the new year is a very powerful way for your story to play out the way you want it to.

I asked a magical friend and author Tess Whitehurst, to join me in a fun conversation about magic, creativity and this next year, your best year. I hope you find this video helpful, as we really dive into the basics of this specific time and how powerful this time really is. Enjoy, take it all in, share, love and feel gratitude for being alive. Please feel free to share this post with family and friends. Just click on this video below.
